There has never been a better time to become a member of Temple Har Shalom.
Our vision is to ensure that we are an accessible, relevant, and inviting Jewish home for all who enter our doors and to continually expand our offerings to all generations of Jewish families.
Temple Har Shalom is a truly vibrant Synagogue for members of all ages. We offer one of the area’s premier preschools (TOA@MTS) that serves over 120 students from infants through full-day kindergarteners. Our Jewish education program (JSchool and Chai School) engages 120 students from pre-K through 12th grade. These programs serve over 250 students from the 14 surrounding towns. We have an active Sisterhood and Men’s Club and other auxiliaries such as our nationally award-winning Knead to Feed, which bakes out of our own kitchen to help feed the hungry. Opportunities abound for education, social interaction, spiritual fulfillment, volunteerism and the building of new and lasting friendships.
As we continue to plan and program for our future, we look forward to your membership and investment in our community. Our investment categories and philosophy are simple: supporting your Jewish community should be easy. We try to keep barriers to entry low and ask that families who can pay more, do so. Most importantly, we commit to the community that we will fully support all our members. Financial circumstance should never keep anyone from joining our family.
While a first step can always be to Contact Us and schedule a time for us to share why we think our physical space and spiritual community are so special, becoming a member right now could not be easier. Simply click here and complete the brief online form. From there, you will be able to select your investment category and payment schedule that works best for you. Important to note, there are no extra fees usually associated with Temple membership, including Building Fund, Security, and Sisterhood/Men’s Club fees. We do continue to ask for member support through outreach like our Kol Nidre Appeal, tuition for JSchool and Machon and B’nai Mitzvah fees.
Should you have any specific questions about membership, we encourage you to reach out to our Executive Director, Josh Greenbaum, or Contact Us here.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Temple Har Shalom community!
