Welcome to Knead To Feed, an all-volunteer artisan challah bakery that donates 100 percent of its net proceeds to help feed the hungry! In addition to making delicious challah, the group provides Congregants and those in the community with an outlet where they can volunteer their time and energy to help others. Knead to Feed has inspired Congregants to come together to participate in workshops that teach them how to make and bake dough. Volunteer bakers produce hand-braided challahs using a traditional recipe, which contains all natural ingredients and is made with love. The Religious Action Center presented us with the Irving J. Fain Award in 2015 and the Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties recognized our work with their Community Service Recognition Award in 2018.
Toda Rabah to all who helped us celebrate Purim by purchasing our hamantashen kits! Look for more sales soon.
